Summary

Subtextual is a Los Angeles based early stage technology startup focused on improving messaging and communication across digital media platforms by enabling a layer of added context to email, micro-blogging and social networking services. Subtextual was founded by Dave Waldman and Michael Steuer as a way to address the information disparity created when sending one message to multiple recipients with different levels of knowledge about the subject matter discussed.

Subtextual provides a plug-in for Outlook, BlackBerry and Gmail as well as a Twitter client – both of which extend the capabilities of the original platforms by creating a richer, more contextual messaging experience.

Subtextual is a seed stage venture funded by angel investors.
